It's a sad day to tear it down but I think this makes sense for a strong retooling type trade. Lets not forget Brewer in his rookie year scored 20ppg this is only his 2nd season and despite a dreadful TC he still looks nice. Even if he flip flops every other TC I think he is still solid. Macvan has sexy %'s for a rookie and I love big men who knock down their FT. He might be a super bench player or develop into a nice option scoring big. Either way I'd be happy with him. At the end of the day Noah is easily replaced by Jason Bennett who can duplicate his stats/production pretty easily. Noah shot 40% and didn't make FT so he was a liability despite being a beast on the other end. 4 blocks and 1 steal is nice but getting 2 young players back for him is also great considering we can steal him back with cap space in the offseason. |
