Giles was an FA pickup that had a couple of big games this season when Marty and DC were injured, but in truth he wasn't a huge part of our plans, so I had no real problems moving him. Ersan was an backup who was barely playing 11mpg and contributing little, so again, no problems letting him go either. My picks shouldn't be anywhere near the lotto so I didn't mind trading them. Yotam is like the ultimate role player IMO, capable of playing both guard positions, however, at 16mil a year I expected him to put up more than 10.6ppg on offense. I love his production across the board though, as he does average 5.1rpg, 4.6apg and 1.9spg while shooting high FT percentages and not turning the ball over that much... but, he had a poor TC and isn't as effective as he was in his prime, and I felt if I could move him for some more firepower I would do. As for what's coming my way... I stay under hard cap which is a bonus (although it's very close lol), and I get the following three players: Shavlik Randolph PF 31 6'10'' 235 A- B C- B- B+ D Damir Omerhodzic SF 31 6'10'' 235 C+ A- C- A- B- D Humidu Rahman SF 20 6'10'' 210 A- C+ C C+ C+ B Randolph may be old (in fact, along with Damir at 31, he'll be the oldest player in my team) but that's never stopped me right? He's currently averaging 26.9ppg (9th in the league) to go with 10.2rpg and decent percentages. Sure, he's not a beast on D, but Lei and Marty play great D already, and DC isn't bad himself. Damir's no superstar, but he's a cheap backup that can do the dirty work, adding the sort of D that Randolph lacks. The wild card in this deal though is Rahman. I love those ratings, and he's only 20 years old. He made the all Rookie First Team in his Rookie Season, and he's a couple of good TC's away from having very Randolph-like ratings actually. His inside scoring should fit in well with my team for now and the future. Hopefully these upgrades will help my team push a little further into the post season now.
